LET THE GOOD
Signature events we look forward to year after year
WHISKEY OFF-ROAD BIKE RACE
Starting on Prescott’s historical (and lively) Whiskey Row and climbing into the beautifully distracting views of Prescott National Forest, riders will connect some of the area’s most exhilarating (and challenging) pieces of singletrack – including the new Spence Basin trail network, double track, gravel roads, and the occasional paved segment. During your visit to Prescott, enjoy three fun-filled days of event festivities and being submerged in the mountain bike industry. Mingle with the most bike-minded people you’ll ever encounter while appreciating the area’s wild wild west heritage and feeling welcomed by its modern-day appreciation for the outdoor enthusiast.
COURTHOUSE SQUARE FESTIVALS
Enjoy vendors, snacks, shopping and concerts on the Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza beginning in the spring and lasting until the fall. Keep an eye out on the City of Prescott events calendar. Our favorites are the Prescott Fine Arts & Wine Festival in May, and the Fallfest in the Park in October.
PRESCOTT FRONTIER DAYS
Since 1888, this traditional event has occurred annually over the 4th of July weekend with eight breath-taking performances at the world's oldest rodeo! In addition to the World's Oldest Rodeo, Prescott Frontier Days proudly produces an annual rodeo dance, Arizona's second largest parade and other special family-friendly events in downtown Prescott.
WINGS OUT WEST AIRSHOW
The City of Prescott and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University bring you the yearly Wings Out West Air Show in October and features a wide assortment of planes, performances, food vendors, special events, and more!
PARTY IN THE PINES
This event is a charity beer fest in the heart of beautiful downtown Prescott. There's beer, food trucks, live music, and a selection of games to enjoy.
Along with being a fun, family friendly tradition, Acker Night combines participating downtown businesses with the support of hardworking musicians who donate their time and talents. Their mutual goal is to keep music alive and thriving for the youth of Prescott.
PRESCOTT CHRISTMAS PARADE AND COURTHOUSE LIGHTING
This must-see event is one of Prescott’s most beloved and time-honored traditions with a daytime parade followed by the lighting of the courthouse.
NEW YEARS EVE BOOT DROP
Whiskey Row becomes a street party as we ring in the New Year. Watch as a 6-foot illuminated Cowboy Boot is slowly lowered down The Palace Building's flagpole.
